Together with our partners and in consideration of our community, we have decided to cancel the 2020 5K Bee Run - Earth Day Fun Run/Walk & River Cleanup due to COVID-19. 

Although we are saddened by the recent turn of events, we are encouraged by your unwavering support and enthusiasm for our mission, and we hope you will continue to join our fight to protect pollinators in the future.

Finally, please save the date and plan to join us for next year’s 5K Bee Run on April 17, 2021. 

Join the 5th annual Earth Day 5K Bee Run/Walk River Cleanup, on Boom Island Park, Minneapolis, in the only National Park offering scenic views of the Mississippi River!

Before and following the 5K learn about efforts to protect pollinators, and enjoy live music, entertainment, and Earth Day festivities. Take part in an organized river cleanup. Save our bees and their habitat by participating in this National movement!

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

7:30 am: Registration and packet pickup opens
8:15 am - 12:00 pm: Entertainment/exhibits/selfie station
8:30 am: Kids Fun run starts
9:00 am: 5K Run/Walk starts
9:30 am: River cleanup starts (bags & gloves will be provided)
