“In the interest of keeping our athletes safe and healthy, we have come to the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Minnesota Senior Games in August. With the absence of the 2020 games, The National Senior Games will accept qualifying athletes from the 2016 and 2018 State Senior Games to participate in the 2021 National Senior Games.

We are saddened to come to this decision but with all the uncertainty this year due to COVID-19 we want to make sure people are safe and with the National Senior Games Association coming out with alternate options for qualifying for Nationals in 2021 we felt it was a good option for athletes. We appreciate your willingness to help us coordinate the 2020 Minnesota Senior Games and for assisting us in 2019. We hope we can work together again when St. Cloud has the games in 2023-2024. The 2020 Minnesota Senior Games will be held in Greater St. Cloud on August 6th - 9th. The Senior Games are for athletes ages 50+ and there are many different sports and events to choose from.

August 6th at 6:00 p.m. - 5K

Location:  Whitney Rec Center, 1529 Northway Drive, St. Cloud, MN 56303

August 7th at 6:00 p.m. - 10K

Location: Beaver Island Trail in St. Cloud

$45 for 5K and 10K
 

Age groups are: 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89, 90-94, 95-99
