Hope in Motion, presented by Minnesota Oncology, is an annual 5K and Family Walk event that benefits Angel Foundation. We hope you will join us Sunday, June 6, 2021 at Veterans Park in Richfield, Minnesota. The event includes a 5K walk/run, 1-mile family walk, kids dash, and cancer survivor celebration.
We are planning a safe and enjoyable in-person event with guidance from Anderson Race Management. Some of the safety measures in place will be staggered start times, limiting event capacity, social distancing, and requiring face masks. Virtual participation is also welcome. Minnesota Oncology hosts this annual event to celebrate National Cancer Survivors Day, honoring our community's cancer survivors and their loved ones. At Hope in Motion, we raise funds for Angel Foundation while celebrating our cancer survivors – they are our STaRS (Survivors, Thriving and Radiating Strength)! We also take time to honor loved ones lost to cancer throughout the years.

All proceeds from Hope in Motion benefit Angel Foundation. Angel Foundation is a local non-profit organization that helps Minnesota adults with cancer and their families. Specifically, Angel Foundation provides emergency financial assistance as well as education and support so that those struck by cancer can live life well with stability, strength and resilience.
We ask that you to register online to expedite bib/chip pickup at the event. Registration closes at 11:59 pm on Friday, June 4th.

Walk or Run. Participants choose to walk or run our chip-timed 1-mile or 5k routes. Staggered starts allow each participant to choose their activity of choice and still meet up at the finish line to celebrate together. Our COVID protocols ensure that everyone can participate safely.
Fundraise. Every Hope in Motion participant is encouraged to fundraise. Our online fundraising platform makes it easy and we’re here to help! Together, our goal is to raise $50,000 to help support Minnesota adults facing cancer and their families.
Celebrate. Hope in Motion is not just a run; it’s an event. As part of National Cancer Survivors Day, we invite you to help us honor our community’s survivors and their loved ones. All participants receive an event t-shirt.
Shine. Are you a cancer survivor? If yes, then you are one of our STaRS! You are a Survivor, Thriving and Radiating Strength! Join us to be recognized and inspired. You’ll also have the chance to network with fellow survivors who understand your journey.
Honor. Memorialize those we’ve lost to cancer. The grief never goes away, but coming together in tribute creates a legacy that lasts forever.
