The Mountain Lake Road Race is one of the longest running races in the state of Minnesota! We will be holding our 49th annual race this year. Our event has that small town charm with big city production and turnout. Our race is recognized for being well-run and organized. Known for having one of the least expensive registration fees in the state, this Run Mountain Lake event is still able to provide quality t-shirts, chip timing, commemorative medals for the top 3 in each race division, as well as unique finisher medals, fruit, snacks, and other refreshments. The t-shirt is designed by a local artist, ultimately becoming a collectible item for many.

Entry received between May 20 & June 16

Entry received after June 16

EVENT DAY SCHEDULE:  June 19, 2022

2:15pm - Race Day Registration/Check-In begins at Mountain Lake High School
3:00pm - 1 & 2 Mile Fitness Walks
3:45pm - Half Mile Kids' Race (9 years & under) 
4:00pm - Half Mile Kids' Race (10 to 12 years) 
4:15pm - The Mountain Lake Mile
4:30pm - Four Mile Race

AWARDS:

These unique medals reflect the same design printed on the t-shirts. "Participation medals" are given to each finisher of a running event. "Award Medals" are awarded to the top three finishers in each age group, of each race.

Half Mile Kids' Races
Boys 9 & Under, 10-12 Girls 9 & Under, 10-12

The Mountain Lake Mile
Men 12 & Under, 13-15, 16-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50+
Women 12 & Under, 13-15, 16-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50+

Four Mile Race
Men 15 & Under, 16-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 +
Women 15 & Under, 16-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 +

Volunteers are a major part of our event. Without volunteers we could not provide the caliber of race that we do.
