This event is held in honor of Lino Lakes Officer Shawn Silvera, who was killed in the line of duty on September 6, 2005. Shawn lived his short life in service to others and so we celebrate his legacy, raising money for charitable organizations that enhance the lives of others.
This event is first part of a larger event called Freedom Fest that day. Join the fun with the Invisible Wounds Project where there will be kids activities, a car/motorcycle cruise, and a concert featuring Rodney Atkins, Jerrod Niemann, and local artist Jake Nelson.
