All races will begin at 9:00am and will be lined up with the walkers in the back of the crowd.
All races will receive bibs and all participants must wear them during the Run/Walk event.
Shirts sizes are not guaranteed for registrations after September 1st.
Packet pick up: Friday, September 16th from 4-7pm at the YMCA (1501 Collegeway) or Saturday, September 17th from 7:30-8:30am near the starting line. Packets will include bibs, event information, and t-shirts. Packets that were not picked up will only be held at the YMCA until September 26th, 2022. Awards Ceremony: There will be a brief ceremony to award medals to the top 3 finishers in each age category for the 5K and 10K races.
ROUTES
5K Run & 5K Walk – in Red on Map - not a certified course
Start: on 10th St to second Ave, take right onto 2nd Ave, 2nd Ave to Lake St. take right on to Lake St. Lake St to Lake Ave to Tower St. Tower St to 10th Ave and back to Tower St. Tower St. to Clary, take right onto Clary St Clary St to McMillian St. Right onto McMillian St. McMillian St to 10th St. Follow to finish line on 10th St & 3rd Ave.
10K Course starts on 10th Street, down 2nd Ave, turns right onto Lake Ave and go around Lake Okabena. Overlaps Lake Street to 6th Ave and heads north. turns right back onto 10th Street and continues to the finsh line at 3rd Ave.
EVENT SCHEDULE:
Packet pick up at the YMCA September 16th from 4-7pm and again on September 17th from 7-8:45am at 927 6th Ave.
All races start at 9am.
Participants should line up according to pace with the faster paces in front and the walkers in the back.
Awards will be once most of the runners have completed the races, and will be near the finish line.
REGISTRATION
April 6th - September 1 all races are $25.
September 1-15 the 5K and 10K go up to $35 and the Walk goes up to $30 (Shirt sizes not guaranteed)
Day of registration is $40 for all races (shirts not guaranteed)

First, second and third place (male & female) will be awarded in the following age groups:

20-29
30-39
40-49
50-59
60+
*There will be no overall winners, only age groups winners.
