This event has been canceled due to COVID-19.

The race kicks off the 48th Annual Watermelon Day in Vining, the "Biggest Small Town Celebration in Otter Tail County." The race begins and concludes at the intersection of State Highway 210 and 457th Avenue. The course is all asphalt, with the entire race course meandering through the scenic countryside. The race is supported by water drink stations throughout the course at the 1.0; 2.5; 5 kilometer markers and at the finish line. There is ample space for parking and portable toilets are available.
