Santa’s Fun Run

Join us for our Santa Fun Run! Both the 5k and 10k will be chip timed. The races will start and finish at the Olson Cultural Event Center in downtown Le Mars and will lead you through residential Le Mars, onto our recreation trail. The 10k runners will also continue to the trail through our beautiful Willow Creek Golf Course. Santa's Fun Run is part of the Christmas in Hometown Le Mars family events. Come for the race and stay for the day to celebrate the joy of Christmas in Le Mars. We encourage racers and walkers to dress up in your 'Santa Suit', ugly Christmas sweater, festive socks or any other holiday attire. Stay after the race for awards and a post race snack.

SCHEDULE:
8:00 am - Packet Pickup near the finish line at Olson Cultural Event Center
10:00 am - Both Races Start on 1st St NE (outside of KC Hall and Olson Cultural Event Center)
11:00 am - Awards Ceremony (inside or outside of the KC Hall after completion of races)

AWARDS:
Awards will take place inside the KC Hall or outside next to the finish line, determined by weather. Awards are given to the Top 3 overall Males and Top 3 overall Females for the 5k, as well as the 10k events. Additionally, age group medals are awarded to the top 3 males and females in each age group category.
